Was unable to unzip the zip file, not sure why. Some of the zips are like that now. Frustrating. But the automatic upgrade worked flawlessly. Just had to fix functions.php to include the links to the custom smilies.

Checked my FTP and noticed I hadn’t updated some files so I reuploaded everything and it worked. Stuff loaded. Everything else should work now. I had uploaded 2.7 correctly to other sites, why they worked. My error.

Found a list of compatible themes and going thru it to find ones I like. Have switched to another one that is compatible for the moment. Let’s see if this upgrade works.

FlickrRSS which worked perfectly in the test blog is fatally flawed here, other theme wouldn’t load so had to change it. Will have to work on that. Unsure if I want to upgrade any other blogs.

Several widgets are unselectable even thou they are unused. Problems.

Neither did TinyMCE that came with 2.6. Took some doing, uninstalling and reinstalling to get it right. Funny, upgraded other sites without a hitch. Weird.
